Laurie Fruth is the general manager of UNLV TV and assistant director of the School of Journalism and Media Studies. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing a strategic plan for the continued growth of the School, overseeing the production of creative programming for UNLV TV, establishing partnerships within the campus and local community and ensuring that students, faculty and staff have the resources needed to meet their professional goals. She is a member of the Broadcast Education Association and the Association of Education in Journalism and Mass Communications. |

Jennifer Ream
Senior Producer

Jennifer is the senior producer at UNLV TV. She has over 11 years of experience in television and video production. She oversees the production of programs for UNLV TV’s two educational cable channels, as well as videos and public service announcements for the campus community and non-profit organizations. |

Dan Grimes
Manager of Instructional Production and Engineering

As broadcast engineer, Dan maintains the media facilities in Greenspun Hall, plans and installs upgrades, researches and orders media equipment, assists students with technical problems and advises faculty and production staff on current and future media technologies. Dan serves on the School budget committee and is frequently called upon by other departments on campus to solve technical or media problems. |

Bill Carroll

Bill serves as UNLV TV’s primary editor and director. He assists students in the studio and works closely with the Senior Producer to produce compelling, educational programming for the School of Journalism and UNLV TV. Bill is a 1995 graduate of UNLV and worked in the local broadcast market before coming to UNLV. |

Mike Piper
Media Network Engineer

As Media Network Engineer, Mike Piper is responsible for the management and administration of information technology and digital media infrastructure in Greenspun Hall. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of California, Los Angeles and an Executive MBA degree from UNLV. Mike is pleased to return to the academic environment and looks forward to helping the School of Journalism and Media Studies pursue its goal of becoming one of the top journalism schools in the country. |
